2 sticks mazola margarine
1/2 c. corn oil
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
5 extra large eggs
3 c. plus 2 T of plain unsifted flour
1 tsp. each of vanilla, rum, sherry,brandy, almond, lemon extact
Cream butter, oil and sugar., add eggs one at a time. Mix flour, baking
powder and add alternately with milk to butter and egg mixture. Begin and
end with flour. Add flavorings last.
Bake in a 10-inch tube pan at 325 for 1hr. & 15 min. to 1 1/2 hr or until
toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
