| Serves 10 to 12 1 pound sausage 1/2 cup chopped peppers 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup chipped celery 1 cup grits (uncooked) 4 cups water 1 teaspoon salt 1 can celery soup 1 cup grated cheese Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown sausage. Add peppers, onion, celery and saute. Cook grits in the 4 cups of water and 1 teaspoon salt until done. Combine cooked grits with sausage, peppers,onions and celery. Pour mixture into a 2 quart buttered casserole. Spread soup on top of mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 30 minutes. SORRY BILL YOU DON'T LIKE PEPPERS, BUT IT IS TRULY GOOOOOOOOOD |
